Vlado is a licensed psychotherapist (Licensed Professional Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor , Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor – former Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor III.) Many of Valdo’s clients suffer from specific “mental health problem”. In the crucial point in their life they reached a deep need for self-reflection and self-understanding. We can call this need spiritual, need for individuation, need for becoming their true oneself. They are driven by the thirst for transcendence and higher meaning when life doesn’t yield simple answers any more...
Vlado believes that there is natural
self-healing tendency in our psyche. Techniques he uses are designed to promote
this instinct. Psychotherapy is a kind of detective work. It can take some time
and patient work before core of the problem is detected. To do this he often
uses dream analysis, (or dream interpretation) psychoanalysis,
relaxing and imaginative techniques as active imagination.
Vlado is also highly influenced by teaching of C. G. Jung
and practically and theoretically he follows tradition he founded: school of analytical
psychology. At the C. G. Jung Institute of Chicago he is being prepared to
become a Licensed Jungian Analyst. Analysis (if done properly then accomplished
